WHILE the sighting was very brief, it was very worth it - a gigantic (3m+ !!) Shovelnose Ray was sighted today in the middle of the sand patch. It was a true "monster of the shallows" - and a harmless one too. A Green Sea Turtle was also sighted shortly before the above "incident".
